It was Giovanni Zullo Sr. in 1937, who planted the first vineyard that allowed him to produce wine to sell locally. Since then all the family is involved in the operations of the company. When the Government offered economic incentives to uprooting the vineyards, the Zullo's family did not yeld and bet on the future of viticulture. Antonietta, present owner Giovanni's mother, was seen at 76 while she bent over the vines to care about them as darling nephews. Giovanni, third generation, left his Medicine studies to follow his passion. It was him, who has given the major impetus to the growth and the quality leap. Today, he's preparing his children, Raffaele and Antonisia, to follow up on this path.
